Declare and submit application

The person who takes responsibility for the accuracy of all the information that is provided in SPEAR must complete the declaration prior to submitting a SPEAR application. This declaration is a confirmation that the information included with the application is true and correct at the time of submission.

Steps

You will need to complete the following to declare and submit an application:

  1. Review the application information provided to ensure that it is correct. If you need to make a change, click the 'cancel' button and modify your application. Otherwise, continue to the next step.
  2. You will need to indicate whether you will be submitting the application with or without paying the fee. The fee can be paid online following the SPEAR prompts, or outside of SPEAR directly with the council.
  3. Tick the relevant boxes to complete your declaration and click the 'submit application' button.
  4. If you elected to pay the fee online, you will be taken to the relevant fee payment screen, otherwise you will be returned to the Details screen.

Note: It is against the law to provide false or misleading information and could result in a heavy fine and/or cancellation of the application.

Note: Only some councils are accepting online payments. Check the SPEAR website for the current listing: https://www.spear.land.vic.gov.au/spear/spearOrganisations/List.do
